Prescription Cat Food

Prescription cat food is sold through veterinarians and includes brands such as Hill’s, Royal Canin, and Sanimed. Kowloon Vet Hospital, owned by Dr Amanda Roddam, supplies our food for adult and senior cats, as well as kittens.

The brands we stock are Hill’s, Royal Canin, and Sanimed. We sell their dry and wet food ranges. All food is clinically tested to help manage a wide range of health conditions and for treating certain diseases.

Why are prescription cat food only sold through veterinarians? Your vet is treating your cat for a certain health condition, and they know best on what nutrients are required for your cat, and can assess which food is best to help with the treatment. Your vet will also monitor the treatment to ensure the diet is working and will adjust the treatment according to your cat’s progress.

The ranges can help with weight management, skin and food sensitivities, kidney care, urinary and digestive issues.
